{"id":1253,"date":"2013-05-07T00:04:00","date_gmt":"2013-05-06T23:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/porthillscouts.org.uk\/site\/?p=1253"},"modified":"2013-05-07T00:04:00","modified_gmt":"2013-05-06T23:04:00","slug":"the-lymelight-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/porthillscouts.org.uk\/site\/2013\/05\/07\/the-lymelight-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"The Lymelight Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Saturday the Drum Corps played in Newcastle as part of the Lymelight Festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This was a free music and arts festival in Newcastle town centre which took place on the first bank holiday weekend in May.\u00a0This was Newcastle\u2019s first outdoor music and arts festival.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Drum Corps played on the bandstand in Queen&#8217;s Gardens and it is thought that this weekend was the first time that the bandstand had been used since it was built!<\/div>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YuxFHQxhgYM\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The band the marched down the Ironmarket to the Guildhall and then played again in front of the Guildhall and by the market Cross.
