\"Cooking\"<\/a>Following on from the Beaver’s Circus Camp<\/a>, two weeks later the Scouts were off to the County’s BIG Camp at Beaudesert. This was a follow up to the Born Survivor Camp<\/a> they ran 3 years ago.<\/p>\n

The Scouts were able to do water activities (e.g. kayaking \/ canoeing \/ rafting),\u00a0climbing, abseiling, challenges (e.g. go karts \/ crate stacking) and survival \u00a0skills(e.g. cooking fish). There was also entertainment for all the Scouts.<\/p>\n

The Scouts had a brilliant time despite some rain and the cooking fish was a particular favourite!<\/p>\n

Then, the following weekend, the Cubs went off to camp at Barnswood. There, after a rather early start(!), the Cubs learnt to prepare and cook their own meals on campfires.\"DSC00459<\/a><\/p>\n

As well as having the obligatory campfire sing along on the Saturday night, on Sunday morning three Cubs were invested into the Pack.\"DSC00473<\/a><\/p>\n

All the Cubs had a great time and left the camp very tired!<\/p>\n
