Last Saturday, the Beavers went to\u00a0Kibblestone for an activity day.<\/p>\n

After arriving at the site, the Beavers walked down to the Dale Shelter where they were able to put down their belongings before being able to have a run around at the bottom of Cuckoo Bank.<\/p>\n

The first task of the day was to have a walk around the site collecting items to make pictures. While doing this everyone had a leaf pile building competition (which the Leaders won!), quickly followed by a leaf kicking competition!<\/p>\n

Who needs computer games?<\/p>\n

The Beavers had to make pictures of two of the Leaders who couldn’t be at the campsite,\u00a0out of the items they collected. They all did very well, but a degree of imagination was required!<\/p>\n

After lunch it was time to try out the Beaver Assault course, but unfortunately, it started to rain. Despite this, the Beavers tackled the course well and all managed to get around it.<\/p>\n

After a slightly soggy assault course, it was time to go down to the indoor cave maze which had the Beavers\u00a0turning and twisting and had hidden obstacles including a ball pool and slide.<\/p>\n

It was then back to the Dale Shelter for a snack of hot chocolate, fruit and cake, followed by the last activity of the day, investing two new Beavers into the Colony.<\/p>\n

All the Beavers when home a bit damp, rather muddy and tired having had a great day.<\/p>\n
