Food Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Saturday we were with Newcastle District\u00a0\u00a0at Newcastle Town Centre\u2019s 1st Food Festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The day was started by a parade from Queen\u2019s Gardens led by our\u00a0Drum Corps along with the Town Crier and the Borough\u2019s Mayor, Councillor Ian Wilkes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the afternoon, the\u00a0Drums played down by Hassell Street and the High Street.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The day came to an end with another parade from Queen\u2019s Gardens, led by the Drums, but this time with all the\u00a0Group flags and by trolleys of food which was to be donated to the local food banks.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Everyone came together again by the Market Cross and District Commissioner Vera presented a number of awards, including a well deserved 20 years service award to
