On Sunday we were at Newcastle District’s St. George’s Day parade in the Town centre.<\/p>\n

For the second year, our Drum Corps led the parade from the Queen’s Gardens, past Newcastle’s War Memorial where the Scout & Guide District Commissioners were with the Mayor and Mayoress of Newcastle, and then on to St. Giles Church.<\/p>\n

As can be seen from the pictures, there were over 500 Scouts and Guides in town!<\/p>\n

The Drums did us proud with their excellent playing (much commented upon by various people!) and everyone from the Group who came, looked very smart and were a credit to us!<\/p>\n
