Last night the Beavers and Cubs held a Summer Fair to raise some money for some fireworks for a Group Camp we will be doing in November and to complete some of the requirements for their badge work.
Our young people had worked hard in the weeks before the fair to make items such as candle holders, tea towels and coasters. There was also two raffles run entirely by the Beavers and Cubs, refreshments, a photo booth and the opportunity to throw sponges at one of the Leaders in the stocks!
We had lots of families and friends attend and we took just over £600!
Thank you to everyone who came and spent their money and a huge thank you to the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, adult helpers and Leaders who did such a great job making things and doing everything on the night!
