Scouts

Scouts are the third section of the Scouting movement (for ages 10 – 14). From the first experimental camp for 20 boys in 1907, the movement now has an estimated 28 million members worldwide, and in the UK alone there are over 499,000 boys and girls involved in Scouting. An increase in adult volunteers means that more and more young people are now able to take part in their own big adventure.

Our Scout Troop is run by Paul our Scout Leader. He is assisted by John, Mark, Beccie and  a number of young leaders.

The Troop likes doing adventurous activities whether they be camping, archery, climbing or dragon boating. Members of the Troop regularly gain many badges by taking part in lots of activities.

If you would like your son or daughter to join us, please get in touch with us via the contact page.

Our Scouts meet on a Tuesday evening from 7 – 8.30pm.
