cubs

Sadly, we have closed due to lack of Leaders.

Cubs is the second section of the Scouting movement (for ages 8 – 10), originally started in 1916 for younger brothers who wanted a ‘look-in’. In over a century, the section has constantly evolved and adapted its programme and methods to meet the changing needs of each generation of young people, and these days admits girls as well as boys.

The Cubs are very enthusiastic about gaining their badges and it’s not unknown to have around ten Chief Scout’s Silver Awards given out in one go! The Cubs enjoy their camping and outdoor activities and regularly raise money for a chosen charity.

If you would like your son or daughter to join us, please get in touch with us via the contact page.

Our Cubs met on a Friday evening from 7 – 8.15pm.
