It’s 19.16 on Friday 16th December 2016 and our Cubs are on an ice rink in Hanley, along with many other Cubs from Newcastle District, renewing their Promise as part of the 100th birthday of Cub Scouting.
On the 16th December 1916, Cub Scouting, then known as the Wolf Cubs, officially started, although the Cub programme had been on trial since the end of 1913.
If you are a Cub, or have been a Cub in the past, join our Cubs by renewing your Cub Promise with Cub Ambassador, TV presenter and adventurer Steve Backshall below (both versions available).
Happy birthday Cubs!
