YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!!
The Group has been allocated 800 daffodil bulbs FROM Newcastle Borough Council which are going to be planted in the gardens of our sponsoring Churches in order to contribute to the improvement of our local community.
We urgently require all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Young Leaders AND PARENTS to come along and help us to plant these bulbs.
We are holding a mass planting session on Saturday 13th November as below:
10:00 am until 12:00 Noon at St Barnabas Church, Oldcastle Avenue, Bradwell
&
12:00 Noon until 1:30 pm at St Andrews Church, Watlands View, Porthill
Please try to attend, even if you can only help out for half an hour.
Bring with you a trowel or spade. A flask with a hot drink is also a good idea.
Wrap up warm and be prepared for all weathers!
