Tonight the Beavers and Cubs have been very busy.
For one of their badges, the Beavers had to do a small talk to everyone in the Colony and to some of the Leaders, on their favourite hobby. They stood in front of the whole Colony to do their talk.
All the Beavers did really well and none showed any signs of nerves!
The Cubs started with a demonstration by one of the Cubs of Morris Dancing. After he’d shown what he could do, the rest of the Cubs joined in.
At the end of the meeting, all the Cubs got their craft badge. Then eight of the Cubs were awarded their Chief Scout’s Silver Award, the highest award a cub can earn. Sadly 2 Cubs weren’t there tonight, but all ten had worked really hard to get their awards.
