We are saddened to hear that one of our old Leaders, Ken Johnson, passed away this morning.
Ken had been a Cub in the Pack in the 1950’s when his father Amos was Akela. When Stephen Padin restarted the Scout Troop in 1983, Ken became Assistant Scout Leader, a role he held until Stephen left for America in 1986. Ken then took on the role of Scout Leader until around 1990.
Ken was always a great supporter of the Group and will be greatly missed.
We send our condolences to his wife Margaret, children Niki, David and Stephen and his grandchildren.
