Yesterday, the Drum Corps took part in Newcastle Town Centre’s Christmas Parade.
The parade started out at the Borough Civic Offices and went around the Town to the Guild Hall.
The parade was led by Newcastle’s Mayor and Santa himself! Our Drums followed with lots of people carrying lanterns they had made as part of workshops run in the town run by the New Vic Boarderlines project.
Lots of people came to watch the parade and the Drums managed to avoid all the bollards and advertisement signs they had to walk past!
It was a great event and many people, including the Mayor, the Town Centre Manager and Santa, were impressed by the Drummer’s skills!
