For once, instead of the Group’s Beavers, Cubs and Scouts getting badges, tonight three of our Beaver Leaders got some!
Our District Commissioner, Steve, came to present Grace with her Wood Badge. This is the badge that all Leaders get when they complete their training. It also means that they become members of the 1st Gilwell Scout Troop, the largest Scout Troop in the world!
Secondly, Steve presented Rachael and Jodie their Five Years Service Awards – it doesn’t seem that long since they were both first invested as Leaders.
The Beavers gave all three a rousing BRAVO!
