All three of our sections had interesting meeting last week.
Firstly, the Scouts tried to put up tents in the hall. That they made themselves. From newspaper. Under the watch of our new District Commissioner, Vera!
They did a great job and actually got some to stay up!
Then the Beavers had a visit from a superstar, Basil Brush! He was there to help the Beavers tell bad jokes. Even our mascot Ontario got in the act!
Finally, the Cubs celebrated pancake day, not by cooking pancakes in frying pans on the cooker, but by cooking them on old tin cans using tea light candles!
