On Sunday we were at Newcastle District’s St. George’s Day parade in the Town centre.
For the second year, our Drum Corps led the parade from the Queen’s Gardens, past Newcastle’s War Memorial where the Scout & Guide District Commissioners were with the Mayor and Mayoress of Newcastle, and then on to St. Giles Church.

As can be seen from the pictures, there were over 500 Scouts and Guides in town!
The Drums did us proud with their excellent playing (much commented upon by various people!) and everyone from the Group who came, looked very smart and were a credit to us!
More photos and a couple of videos can be seen in the gallery.
