On Sunday 27th April, one of our Assistant Scout Leaders and Queen’s Scout, Jack Stanyer went to the St. George’s Day Parade at Windsor. The parade was attended by the Chief Scout, Bear Grylls and the President of the Scout Association, HRH Duke of Kent.
Jack even got to talk to Bear!

Jack went with his dad and brother, Centurion Explorer and Porthill Young Leader Joe. Joe happened to bump into Bear as well!
Congratulations to Jack for getting his award, the first Porthill Scout to get the Queen’s Scout Award since 1999!
