This year’s AGM was held with an evening of games, football, surprises and cake!
All the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts made their own world cups and statues before playing football.
The AGM then followed with guests from the District and the Church. As part of the the reports a video was shown with images of what the young people of the Group had done over the past year. There was also a surprise for Sharon and Paul as there was a section on their 30 years service.
After the reports and election of the Executive, came the awards. Sharon gave out the Cub of the Year Award and Paul announced a Scout had achieved a Chief Scout’s Gold Award.
Sharon and Paul got another surprise when they were presented with two cut glass goblets (and something to put in it) and a cake kindly made by Sam and Louise.

The following day, the Scouts went hiking and camping on the Roaches! After stopping at Gradbach overnight they continued with their hike.
