Last Friday, the Cubs went to Newcastle District’s Promise Party at the Winter Wonderland ice rink in Hanley. This was held on the exact day that Cub Scouting officially started 100 years ago. The Promise Party was the final event in the celebration of the Cub’s centenary. At exactly 19.16, all the Cubs renewed their Promise.
