On Tuesday 12th September, the Cubs went to Trentham to go Bell boating.
They all had to stand in the middle of the bell boats where they did the following –
- Passing a ball over thier heads
- Then the ball over their heads then under their knees
- Rocking the boat side to side
- Jumping up and down on the boat
- Singing head shoulders knees and toes!
- Swap sides and sit in a different seat
- Passing a jug of water over their heads. Then what water was left a Cub threw it over the instructor!
- Then the instructor chucked two lots of water over the Cubs & leaders
They then paddled through the island on the lake. Then they paddled to the nude statue, where the Cubs had to find out who he was (Perseus) and who made it (it’s a 19th Century copy of Benvenuto Cellini’s original).
Then they paddled back, but wen they were half way back they had a race.
Sharon’s boat won!
